The meditation deck
The outdoor yoga space is a magnificent wooden platform that snuggles into the valley surrounded by verdant, unspoilt nature. Designed by architect Marco Antonini it measures 15m x 10m and has a graceful white cloth covering for shade.
The indoor yoga room has an atmosphere of serene tranquility with views over the valley and is also used for meditation, chanting and treatments. It is fully equipped.
The grounds are extensive and a joy to explore, with sheltered spaces for reading and meditation.
With its spectacular views and magical setting, In Sabina lies in the midst of the Italian countryside less than an hour from Rome. The grounds are lush and abundant, with a natural spring, gardens, pond and swimming pool. Cities and towns within easy access include, Rome, Orvieto, Assisi and Siena. A trip to the hot sulphur springs is a must.
The food is prepared by local Italian women and its simple, wholesome charm adds to the exquisite nature of this retreat. Rooms are designed in a simple, natural style, a combination of old and new. Furnishings and fabrics complement the buildings and their surroundings, creating an environment which is calm, comfortable and practical and ideal for spiritual practice

The secluded swimming pool
A couple of days at In Sabina with Vicky are worth a two week holiday anywhere else! As soon as you arrive and discover the lovely traditional house perched on a hill-top surrounded by trees, you feel as though you've left your everyday life behind. Evening meditation sessions are in a lovely cosy room, and morning yoga is on the stunning wooden platform overlooking the valley. Add to that the gorgeous food and wine, the daytrips to Rome and to a traditional Roman spa, and the great company, and you really couldn't wish for more!
