Pranayama (breathing practice) can energise you after an interrupted night’s sleep and the postures can support you physically and help balance your hormones, calming their vibrating pulse.
Vicky’s mother and baby yoga classes are designed to help you regain health, vitality and strength after the transition of pregnancy and birth:
During the class baby may rest in a baby chair or lie on your mat. Vicky encourages you to soothe baby if they become unsettled during the class. Sometimes the class can be a start and stop experience but this is the nature of motherhood and it is important to remember this and surrender to your baby's needs. Vicky embraces babies into the practice session by showing how to use yoga postures to relieve colic and crying. The class always closes with a melodic chants which your baby is sure to love!
Every mother on the planet is welcome irrespective of experience. Vicky aims to make each class a powerful networking experience for all new mothers.
